Knock knock.
Let's think together.
"Not a professional profile. This is a home — with rooms for those who want to think, connect, and belong."
51 years old. A first-generation Australian, eleven years in Sydney after a life lived across 28 countries and five continents. Originally from Amritsar — now, genuinely, home.
Three decades in enterprise technology, most of them spent in rooms where things get decided. The consistent discovery across all those rooms: the quality of a decision has very little to do with the agenda, and everything to do with whether people feel safe enough to say the true thing.
On the trail, at a comedy open mic, writing a memoir, building a community — these aren't hobbies arranged around a career. These are the dimensions of a life expanding into its own shape.
This site exists because the communities worth belonging to are built around people, not institutions. And because the door, at some point, has to open from the inside.
"Built belonging — again and again, in different rooms. That's the career. That's the life."

Everest Base Camp. Trails across four continents. The outdoors as a thinking space, not a holiday.
A memoir in progress. A Pattern Log kept honestly. Words as a way of paying attention to what's actually happening.
Yes, seriously. A stand-up stage, a microphone, a room full of strangers. The most vulnerable room yet.
28 countries. Five continents. A mind shaped by many cultures — and not exclusively by any of them.
Thinking alongside people navigating something real. No frameworks. Honest conversation. That's the offer.

Walking into a room full of strangers with a microphone — that was the most vulnerable it's felt in three decades. More than any boardroom, any difficult client, any crisis situation. That's exactly why it happened. The full performance is inside.

Years given to institutions that were never really yours — what does that cost, and what does it build? This isn't a leadership book. It's an honest reckoning told through rooms: offices, hotel lobbies, quiet conversations that changed direction. Chapters, themes, and early excerpts are inside.

Delivery operations pioneered from Germany. Teams built across Eastern Europe. Leading in rooms that weren't familiar, in cultures that weren't inherited. Loved it.

Consumer, Manufacturing, Energy & Services across Australia and New Zealand. That chapter closed in May 2026 — deliberately, with gratitude, and with clear eyes about what comes next.

The career continues. The person expands. Mentoring, writing, hiking, building community that travels with the person — not the employer. This site is the door.
📍 Wherever the conversation happens
"The career expands. But now it's one part of the story, not the whole of it."
A living record of how thinking changes. Not advice. Not a newsletter. Honest notes from someone paying attention to their own patterns as a long chapter closes and new ones open.
There's a moment in every long tenure when something shifts. Not a decision — a realisation. Sitting with when that actually happened. It wasn't when it seemed.
Exits · IdentityFor years the framing was competitive. Now the same landscape reads philosophically. What does that shift say about where things stand now? About what was being defended before?
Competitive lens · ReleaseEthics over convenience sounds clean as a value. In practice it's a series of small choices with accumulating weight. Would it happen again? Yes. But the price is understood now.
Ethics · Leadership cost
